I purchased this pole to hang the flowtron fc-8800 diplomat insect control device.
Competitiveness
The pole is made for your flowtron device, and will withstand a good amount of weather.
Nice enough and adeqate to hold the 85w flowtron zapper with no problems.
Great performance fully support flowtron insect unit.
I then took black zip-ties and attached the (outdoor) electrical cord to the pole.

The coating on the metal is thick and two of the sections only went into the each other about 12”

This item works great however due to the weight of the bug zapper i had to brace the pole to the fence so that it would not tilt or lean in the direction of the zapper

The solution is to put a small pulley at the top and use rope to hoist the zapper up like a flag on a pole then tie it off to the bolt

My issues are that unless im missing something the electric cord for the bug killer has to hang down the pole which isnt really pretty

Also its heavy so if you are short you really need someone to help install it especially when the bug zapper is on it

Im concerned that over time it will rust making removal of the light difficult
