Pros

The fluke just works (if you know what you're doing) other than this it works great! Should have got this sooner.

It's a handy tool that has plenty of applications. While this is far from being a ka-52, you should read the manual very carefully, this is a professional tool after all. They marvel at a great time saver it is.

Cons

The tone generator itself is fine, but the wands are total garbage. Do yourself a favor and buy the cheaper and more feature rich one that klein tools offers. The wand is horrible. A five dollar piece of chinese garbage for $89.

The voltage detector is total garbage. You turn it off and within a week the battery is dead. Maybe i got a defective unit, so i gonna return it.

Tone generated is so strong it bleeds from one wire in a bundle to all the wires in the bundle equally. Try to trace a long run in a bunch of cables and you will be frustrated. Weak signal unless directly on bare wire.

If your tone generator doesn’t stay on for longer than 30s — double check the battery, sometimes they don’t produce enough juice, esp.

It proved to me that the wiring is sound and the problem ended up being two 30 year old circuit breakers that are bad.

A priceless tool that is extremely simple to use.

They ranged from the cheap $30 t&p's to the fluke filtered t&p featured on this amazon page.
