Pros

The graphic display and cable length continuity are very useful when chasing cable problems or tying to figure out poorly diagrammed wiring. It does poe, which is great!

The fluke microscanner2 cable verifier is a terrific network cabling diagostic tool. It works with cat3, cat5, cat6, and coax and tests up to 1000 mhz.

It’s maddeningly expensive but, well, worth it. Para el costo existen equipos más completos en el mercado.

This thing saves so much time in guess work, makes troubleshooting a breeze. If you have the toner for it, it works great.

Cons

The fluke box was crushed. The same flashing 2 2 fault warning message comes up on six other know good factory-made cables, when testing other good wired runs. Fluke seems to be purposely designed to frustrate the user into giving up.

Shipping

I shipped the old scanner back and they sent me a brand-new one as a replacement.

Competitiveness

I bought one of the cheap ch1n3se ones.
