Pros

The temperature is right, the shape is soooo practical, and they work. Make sure to use a dome with a thermostat! I have the lamp plugged into a thermometer control and it works great to keep the tank at the right temperature for him.

Heat bulb fits in a normal light fixture. I have it positioned over a perch and they spend a lot of time under it. I just turn the lamp off in the morning when the house heats up.

Cons

I purchased a 60w bulb, the box says 60w (not the same packaging as shown on the amazon description), but the bulb itself says 75w. One week and does not work. It heats well while it last but no real value. Maybe i was just sold a dud.
