Only way to go to slowly lower ph in the tank instead of adding chemicals which can shock fish easily if done incorrectly

Too bad there is no other replacement for these cartridges since it can get expensive if you do not take care to have a slow bubble count

Per bubble count and i do not turn it off at night so it runs constantly
