Pros
Product is rigid enough to stay in form around bends and curves. Give you enough hos that it is hard to make a mistake. Hardens after a few years and gets gunk inside but othrewise pretty good longevity.
Cons
This is the 2nd fluval hose that i've used on my 306 that has sprung a leak in the hose. One of the hoses was not sealed at one of the rubber ends.

My filter was very noisy and i thought maybe i had a pinhole in these lines.

Was a bit expensive but it did what we needed.
So thankful the company sells replacement hoses at a decent price.

If you are using actual fluval devices they will have a collar that screws over the hose grommets to keep them in place

If you are not using actual fluval devices you should use a circular clamp on each connection to assure they dont pop off

So if your device came with one of those horrible 1234 or 1834 short hoses a couple of these hoses allow you to get the device connected further from the canister filter

They are specifically designed to work with the fluval 306307406407 canisters and most any device using 16mm hoses

Just remember that smaller diameter hoses dont handle as much water pressure as bigger ones
