The suction cups work well and keep the filter positioned nicely. The sponge inside is coarse enough to allow flow for a long time. It's easy to disassemble and clean and comes with a 2 year warranty.

I have this on a 16 long bookshelf aquarium and love the sleek design and how quite it is. It is great for what it is and what it can do. But it has a few minor flaws.

The filter is much quieter than my hobs anyway.

Out of the box, this filter sounds like a pebble in a tin container. When the flow is reduced, the propeller rattles. Ever since i purchased the filter it has a has a slight rattle.

This thing is even worse than their co2 kits(don't even get me started on those overpriced pieces of *) at $15 this thing is a flaming rip off. It is so frustrating as i keep it in the bedroom.
