Also again unlike the tetra 3 gallon with a flat acrylic top that annoyingly reflects each led in the lamp the fluval has no reflections of the led lights

I cannot imagine a betta fish living under the glare of the light though brilliant light so i did not use those

I also used stability to enable adding the betta fish to the aquarium immediately instead of waiting for the aquariums to complete their cycle

You should also buy a water test kit to monitor to water because the smaller the aquarium the more difficult to get the water correct

And last but not least watch the fuval video to be sure you have assembled the item correctly

Remember never put male betta in one tank in fact i would not house 2 betta females either because they become excited while watching my fancy goldfish in the other aquariums
