The only setback is once the bulb expires you have to replace the entire thing. The timer is super nice, simple.
Fantastic product. Easy to use and no leaks or issues yet. Worth every penny. This product is a miracle worker!

Cons
An inline uv light is a pain to change out and this item is very easy to install but it's not an effective uv line sterilizer so it's pointless and expensive. It is not effective against algae blooms in larger tanks.
