The padding seems to be in all the right places, except i wouldn’t mind having some in the chest area. The shoulder and elbow pads actually stay where they should be. Upgrading the armor is a snap.

Bought it at a local cycle shop so i had a lot of options to choose from

The jacket filled the bill in every way except that the extra large wasnt loose enough to allow good air flow

Thicker pads would be more ideal but then again it probably would make the jacket bulky
