Pros

Headphones and monitor outputs work as promised. Fader to have input or playback to the monitors/headphones. Allows you to control monitor level on the hardware, not on the console software.

Perfect synch. Everything else is manageable, but this is a little annoying. I am literally flabbergasted.

The interface is plug and plug so no driver issues to worry about. Works well with windows 7 and 8. Works with imacs running osx lion and a mini-mac os-x and two older computers running windows 7. Comes with a trial of ableton live-lite.

This is the best sounding, solid built interface i've had. With ample gain at my disposal, and a full vsti of the novation bass station.

Cons

Horrible, horrible latency with win 7 64. Works well when it works. Intermittently it just doesn't. Lasted about 4 months before the second tsr (1/4 aka 'guitar cable') out quit working.

Literally installed the drivers, loaded up a 24 track session with plugins, and pulled the buffer slider all the way to the left.

This is one is unbeatable at this price.

I wanted to be able to have stereo drums and stereo synth lines sent to seperate channels at the front of house.

I did have some noise on the rear outputs, and amazon shipped me a new unit which i will be testing out today.

The box arrived dented and beat up but on time.

Then, everything that was plugged into the box came out distorted and down about 3 semitones.

I got this and felt like it was just packed with too many features which made it kinda harder to use.

Competitiveness

I was able to overdub about 8 concurrent tracks with no problems whatsoever.

All in all, great product at great price, and nicer than the competing m-audio products.
