I measured my window how the instructions directed but it always rolls up at the bottom an inch or two since it is kind of spring loaded and then it doesnt land on a black out area so we have a couple inches at the bottom where theres no privacy because it has rolled up and then it lands on a place where the shades are apart so i love the shade and price but figuring out how to measure it perfectly so that it completely covers our bathroom window and stays down is confusing to me

I plan to buy another one for a different bathroom but im not sure how to accurately measure it so it stays down completely and also so when it is full down or a little above the window sill that the shade is completely private

Imho very confusing when ordering “custom size”shade in that they have you select a std size from their list which is not your size and father down in the order you tell them your actual window opening size and direct them to not look at that size you earlier selected…

For example i needed a 39 12 x 3912 size but since that isn’t a std size i selected 40 x 40 …where i placed the order it shows 40x40 and states their return policy not easy…

When you order in bulk they do provide some discount and of course the overall price is no where near what some of the specialty stores here will charge
