I love the way they look but has to be careful during handling up and down the texture it is so fragile

I followed their instructions for an inside mount and i am sure that their recommendation of subtracting half inch from the interior width is universal and should work for most windows

I found that maybe 12 inch was too much for my windows and perhaps 14 inch subtraction would have suffice

Had a bit of trouble installing it inside of the window frame because we couldnt find the supporting studs around and the screws that came with the unit was too short in our case

The other thing is that i read it was from colorado which i liked but it deffenatly came straight from china

The reason am giving it 4 stars is that one of the shades had some scratches on the valance، very noticable but can be fixed
