Stud locator works but you need to mark everything in like 2 minutes tops or it dies. Tested several more times with different settings, recalibrating in different areas but no good - asked for a refund.

The equipment appears to work very well in locating plaster board batons but very frustratingly it did have a habit of showing electrical cables where there werent any

This may have been due to it picking up an electrical reading from moisture in our new plaster board walls but unfortunately this did create more doubt than reassurance when deciding where to drill
