Bit tricky to install and the rawl plugs it comes with are pretty rubbish but once installed it works a treat

I bought this one after reading reviews on some others which said that the magnet was quite powerful it holds the door back ok but not sure if its strong enough to hold if a gust of wind were to catch the door

Fitted to an external opening door stops the door blowing shut

Only con is that fitting base to floor with screws requires the magnet to be screwed on and i have to leave it a little loose otherwise the magnet is out of alignment

Magnet isnt that strong to catch the door so you have to slowly move it towards the magnet to latch

Dont expect the sticky pads for a permanent solution mine held on for barely 24hrs painted wood anda door closer

However the sticky pad are great for positioning you can verify that you have the right position beforedrilling

One tip is that when you have the correct position mark the orientation on the baseplate ifyou dont get that right you will find that the post is facing the wrong way when fully tightened onto thebaseplate
