The wall is a stud wall with the fuse box mounted on other side so wanted to check out wires and mount on the studs.

The main problem with that one was it gave too many false positives far too complicated

Ive used stud finders before and this model with its clear uncluttered display just telling correctly what you need to know in time for safety is a far more useful option

I hilariously actually thought my device was broken as i had the top of it against the wall but couldnt find anything

It turns out that actually the back of the device is supposed to be against the wall and it even has a piece of fabric to help it slide better
