Pros

Desk is roomy enough to have a small table underneath and boxes for my files. It holds my laptop with various nick nack and paper/notebooks. Plenty of space to put a book, notepad, mousepad, and laptop on it.

Purchased for my 85 yo mother. The size is ideal too. I purchased this desk for my young adult kids living in the city in small apartments.

With a tablecloth it becomes a buffet. Nice and sturdy and fits my efficiency appartment just right.

Cons

The box was not damaged, but the item was packed already damaged. The packaging is very cheap and made a horrible mess in the house to clean up. There is no way this was tested before being shipped.

The desktop itself is not square. The top came damaged, a little chipped part shows on one edge. They send me messages asking me for pics with no way to load them to amazon messages.

Saw this folding desk and for the price, decided to give it a try.

I noticed on the market there were a lot of 30 inch desks for twice the price.

I wouldn't leave 40lbs for a long time though, as 30lbs doesn't flex it seems not much more would cause it to.
