Pros & Cons
Pros
Adjusts easily and holds securely.
For small, lightweight rigging, this arm cannot be beat for the money. Good for light duty work and good value but inspect it to make sure that there are no issues before using it. High quality workhorse earns its' spot in your camera bag.
Cons
You will get less than a turn in before the threads jam. The swivel ball joint does not lock. There is very little surface area to leverage onto a surface.
Highlights
Quality
This is a very rugged and versatile product.
I bought one of these and was impressed by the value so i bought another.
Be aware of the weight limitation, mean you should be smart with the amount of weight you put in this.
The size read 11" but that is with the hot-shoe, i would say is more in the 10".
Price
But it is more than twice the cost.
Competitiveness
Everything went smooth and now i have a dyi solder station.

But it is more than twice the cost

I think it is the max amount it will hold before it will start to give

The rubber pads on the clamp came off after a couple of uses but that was a pretty easy fix

The times i’ve had it “move” on me are when i either haven’t tightened the 14 screw enough or i haven’t tightened the collar enough
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Once this is tight i will twist the entire arm to further screw the 14” bolt into my device
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I then loosen the tightening mechanism in the middle and repeat this step until the collar stops turning
