Pros

Food saver bags seem to be a bit thicker than the regular bags that i have been using. Good to know we can wash and reuse the bags.

Great for individual chops, small steaks or chicken thighs. Used it to freeze homemade pizza. We make our own sausage, and when putting away 50+ pounds of links it is great to have a faster way of preparing it for the freezer.

These are dishwasher-safe and can be reused. Produce is at its peak, and the growers are just about giving it away.

Cons

These are just a rather questionable piece of engineering.

These bags are a total waste of money. There are so many wrinkles that are pressed into the plastic that the bags just will not seal. Stick to the regular rolls without pleats.
