Food saver is very compact compared to my mom’s food saver from back in the days. This smaller model fits well into a cupboard already teeming with cooking devices. Because it is so compact, it sits on top of a piece of wood ontop of my toaster oven.

Vacuum sealing these photo ink jet cartridges greatly extends their usable life. Good vacuum and fast sealing. Overall this is a handy gadget to use for sealing food.

Used twice and quit working. Company refuses to pay for shipping to return for replacement. They acknowledge my having contacted them but their customer service is totally non-responsive.

It has great suction power but the sealing strip has major issues. Vacuum seems to work just fine but what does that matter when the bags won't heat seal shut? Will vacuum the paint off the walls but then will not seal.

The issue is the sealer not * in when its supposed to. Does not create a decent seal.
