I was intrigued with this concept and decided to give it a try. They're just so * quick and handy. She is single and it helps with so many little things. This little gadget is so very handy!

Newall brands (foodsaver) no longer carry the unit that vacuums and marinades. It no longer has enough power to effectively seal my mason jars. Removing air from a 1 gallon foodsaver zipper bag is tremendously slow.

The reservoir is a good idea, but not being able to use it while charging makes it a counter top kitchen rather than be able to stow it in a drawer. When you remove the sealer from the charger, it has no charge.

Used but infrequently. Kinda negates the small form factor. Not food saver.

This is now my third foodsaver hand held that has either not worked at all, or had a pathetically short life. It’s getting hot, but is now just a hot, useless chunk of plastic!
