I use this for portioning items to be frozen such as meat and bacon.
Unfortunately it only works on 110v so i gave it away along with many of my other 110v appliances.
I've only ever owned foodsaver brand when i lived in the us.
And guess what, i'm as equally as impressed with foodsaver in the uk.

Sadly after 8 months the sealing strip has wrinkled and so the foodsaver bags no longer seal

It still works with the separate containers you can buy but not with the foodsaver rolls of film

I have received no meaningful response from the foodsaver customer service in over a week other than to acknowledge receipt of my complaint

Please note i always used the foodsaver branded rolls of film to create my bags so there is no possibility that i have harmed the sealer with an inferior film

This is a great machine but think the manufacturer could make it just a little bit better for the money not every vacuum attempt in the jars always work i can tell if it does not puff when i take out the nozzle there has been no air taken out and for the money the jars cost is not on
