Pros
Does a great job to prevent freezer burn and easy to reseal food. Meat is as fresh as the day i bagged it. Keeps for weeks refrigerated, or even frozen.
Open the lid (cover) and put the closing handle at operating position then close the lid. Seals & keeps things super fresh with the right bags. One thing i’ve noticed is that the vacuum works better when sealing full-width bags.
Cons
I am impatient and this machine is very very slow and fussy. Je suis probablement tombé sur un citron du vendredi.
Absence of bag cutter, suction power are not the top of this product. Only vacuums and seals %50 of the time. And sometimes it * and * but never seals.

I used to use freezer bags but i could not obtain the same sealant as with the vacuum sealer.
We have had a little difficulty with the sealing part of the process.
Competitiveness
I haven’t had it long enough to give it a 5-star rating (ergo the ‘4’) but i am leaning that way.
Was given a food-saver as a christmas gift from the kids many years ago.

Juices oftentimes prevent it from sealing to avoid this put a folded paper towel just at the opening of the bag after all juice from meats has been drained example processed smoked ham

The paper towel will stop the juice from entering the machine preventing the bag from sealing

Im looking forward to nonfreezer burned meat and chicken as ziplock bags do not prevent freezer burn which is very unappetizing
