This one worked just fine gave it to my son for xmas the last one i bought a different model foodsaver did not work but this model works great son has already gone thru the bags and the roll of plastic

The heat sealing strip makes a widerbetter seal of about 2mm more than 116

This is common enough that there are instructions on the internet for fixing it but it entails unsoldering the vacuum sensor from the circuitboard

The generic bags come in a larger roll that does not fit in the storage area until the roll has thinned out a bit
