Pros
It is a bit noisier than i expected, but again, not a deal breaker. This is our 3rd foodsaver and it doesn't disappoint!
Have used sealing machines since early 1970s and foodsaver since 1995. Very efficient and easy to use sealing fresh fish caught.
Cons
The vacuum seems to work but the sealer does not work at all. The canister system is expensive too. Very frustrating and not cost efficient.
There are no spare parts and it’s not repairable. Worked well for 5 weeks, then stopped sealing. It still seals but it doesn't vacuum the air out well.
The "auto" sealing of bags requires you to get the bag in the just right or it won’t activate. This automatic feature, where you insert the bag and it grabs the bag, is completely unneeded.
This particular unit is bay far the worst food saver i fphave owned. It failed pretty miserably. Several photo's of air bubbles remaining along edges of food. Those are costly bags when i am buying 10 to 15 pineapples that will use about 50 sandwich s... Read More
Tbis unit leaves more “waste” of bag after sealing. It also wastes some bag material. Won’t waste so much bag and have wrinkles in the seal. The problem with both is exactly the inconsistent vacuum and sealing.

These cost more, but this brand is worth spending the money on.

The first item i ordered got misplaced and amazon made good on their promise.
Packaging/appearance
Comes with some packages and a roll to get started, i really like the hose for the ziplock type you can get.
Like to see more of them in the package.

All the other brands of vacuum sealers are trying to be like this brand.
