The reason that people cant get them to keep a seal is because you have to separate every piece in the top and wash them squeaky clean

The problem is not the outer green seal around the edges not being tight enough its the center green tab and small clear rubber piece where the air exits that are not squeaky clean enough to hold the seal

You also need to press down really hard to close the lids

Com and in error ordered a double shipment one of which i had to return because had no use for so many containers

We purchased 2 and had the same problem it takes 2 people to get a seal one to hold the top down and another to handle the hose otherwise

Easy to clean seems to be dishwasher safe on the upper rack anyway
