The book also includes a number of recipes for simple sauces to serve – from chutneys to cream sauces and compound butters. My favorite is paella. The book is well written and researched and beautifully illustrated.

All clear and concise instructions. Easy to follow, especially when compared to the standard of blindly following recipe directions.

The book does not feel cheap either - nice quality.

No more flipping pages to continue a recipe, then flipping back to verify an ingredient measurement, then flipping back again.

The print is small and feeble, not easy to read nor to follow a recipe while cooking.

It was very reasonably priced on amazon and was perfect quality.

Some of the recipes can get a little pricey.

I found this very useful as some fish are very expensive.

I intend to order all my seafood from an on line company in alaska shipped frozen directly to my house.

I live in south america so i can't afford to have it shipped here.

Packaging/appearance

Came in good condition, love the easy tasty recipes that cooks illustrated has to offer.

This is jam packed full of fantastic recipes, and the huge coloured photographs are fantastic.

But, so far, i've just looked at each beautiful page, tagged the recipes i want to try, and made them!
