I used a solution of 4 parts of water and 1 part alcohol to wet the spot inside the new shoe and applied the largest insert in the stretcher to fit that spot

I had to use the attachments to get the extra width i needed elsewise it wouldnt have worked as the native width of the stretcher isnt wide enough for a size 8 wide width shoes

It does say on the description not for use on wide width tho

You have to be super careful not to overturn the device as it will strip the bolt

I would advise to use the grip test around the area being stretched to feel for a tautness of the shoe material not the screw part of the stretcher which seemed to be very delicate and would spin with no resistance to the point i wasnt sure if it was working
