Pros

As expected, a few splinters. This is my 3rd orders to find the one that doesn't have a glue on, and only this basket didn't have glue. Staples are small and well hidden.

Gives my sourdough loaves a professional look. Bake the bread in parchment-lined six-inch pans.

This banneton is lovely. Perfect for this use. Great price. Great product. Size is excellent. Price is perfect.

Perfect size for all carby applications. These were perfectly sized for my needs for a standard 2 pound boule.

Cons

The cloth is not flax linen and does not proof well for a proper crust. The banneton itself is also very shallow. Have to use the liner because otherwise they'll be splinters in the bread.

First order, i got a delivery confirmation with the picture of a different door than my own apartment.

Overall the product is fine - nicely structured, no strong chemical small, nicely packaged for shipping.

Initially it looked smaller than expected, but it fits an entire sliced french baguette, which was the intended use.

Competitiveness

There are so many to choose from at different price points and packages.

I was surprised how many companies use glue to make the basket look better, but i'd rather have some splinters than glues.

Fortunately, i'd purposely not returned this one yet, because i wanted to see how it compared in size to the skizem.
