So i wouldn't say it's much improved despite being 3600mah, perhaps because of the quality of the screen (and unnecessary loud beeping!
The quality is great too, sound is loud and clear when baby is awake.
Competitiveness
Good camera but very disappointing that it does not work with foscam app as well as the monitor.
I returned it and found this one from foscam.
The foscam baby monitor is an excellent way to hear and see when my infant awakes, while out of immediate hearing distance.

The picture off it is really good but my wife dropped the handheld monitor and it wont work now ive tried everywhere to but a new one but looks like i have to buy another camera as well the handheld monitor is an lcd display so not very sturdy if its dropped it will break so now i have a camera with no way to see whats on it its usless now

The vox is connected to a loud beeping alarm that sounds at the same time your baby cries

This makes it really easy to hear your monitor if you happened to be out the room or asleep but it wont shut up if youre there watching the monitor while the baby selfsettles

You can adjust the sound volume of the monitor and the sensitivity of the vox but for some reason you cannot opt to turn the beeping alarm off
