Foscam t8ep is a game-changer for surveillance enthusiasts. Made of metal which gives it great solidity and anti-vandalism function. All my foscam cameras have worked flawlessly.
Construction is strong and looks durable. Resolution is incredible. Built-in microphone is of good quality.
Ir emitter works well. Camera angle can be adjusted to get rid of eave glare. Comes with a siren.
Recording via my ftp server or sd card have great playback video quality. My router has a built-in ftp server, so i save the recording directly to the ssd on the router.
Foscam has a pc version of their software that works well if your supervision is stationary. It is very useful as you can use the focam phone app to land the camera to your user profile in under a minute and be up and running. The two-way talk is clea... Read More
Cons
Foscam t8ep is terrible. Windows 11 not supporting hevc codec. Passwords are insecure and would be easily hacked. Camera disconnects every 2 days.

This camera does not have an internal web interface so you will need to use the foscam software to atleast handle the first time configure

I had an amcrest camera looking out on the side yard from a window but the glare made it useless at night so i purchased this foscam camera to mount outside high up on the exterior wall of the house
