The camera setup is very easy. Build quality is good and installation/setup is super quick and easy. This is terrific and really easy to set up and use. Perfect addition to equipment for keeping a close eye on your children outdoors.
The currently advertised purchase price seems fair enough. At around £50 when i ordered this it seems a little steep on price compared to many others.
After set up is complete, you are able to access this camera via ovnif.
Cons
After installing the camera, this feature is not accessible on any hardware or operating system. This advertising is really deceitful and unsatisfactory. This product is inappropriate if you wish to use it behind a window. No image tracking on 2.

The picture quality is good, but recording to a micro sd does limit how much you can save.

So if all you need is a camera that will log every detection of movement or sound record it to an sd card in really good quality works in daylight and at night sends you notifications whenever it detects something and you can review the clips from anywhere in the world all without a cloud service so none of your data is ever uploaded or stored on a server somewhere in the world then look no further

The wifi connection procedure was very slick no need to get your phone to try and scan or expose any unprotected ssid instead the app on yoru phone creates a qr code on the screen with the wifi details and then you show the code to the camera in its initial factory state the camera reads the qr code and sets up its wifi

My only annoyance with the foscam app is that it fequently tries to upsell their cloud service even at times when you are just switching between tabs putting an ugly popup with some new special offer which i think is very unprofessional for what is otherwise a very decent app

I guess this can be a bit more secure as someone cannot easily maliciously remove the card unless its in a particular position but it does make it a bit inconveient as you need to pan up with the app

Also because of this it did take me a while to find the sd card slot and i thought it was missing on this model as even the manual did not make it clear how to access it

Nevertheless once instead you can access the card via wififtp though a bit slowly at 2
