I have enough light at night to use the camera without the ir lights

Covering the cameras ir lights to avoid the ir from flashing back to the lens from the enclosure

The camera housing is plastic and also seems to be a good quality material

Only issue is you can not use the cameras inferred because it has a white wash affect that reflects back at the camera

I did not find this to be a problem because i also have a motion light mounted next to the camera which lights up the area where the cameras view is positioned at and that light comes on at the same time the motion is activated on the camera
