Blinking steadily with a surprisingly large red beam!
The plastic is a little flimsy though.
I mounted it on a metal stake about six days ago and it's still working.

Even if its dark a lot or overcast and storming if you put in batteries you do not have to worry that the solar panel wont charge the built in battery

They look great and the first one i pulled out of the box started blinking immediately with only the overhead fluorescent light in my bedroom as a light source
