The camera uses dhcp to automatically obtain an ip address from your router so all you need to do is connect the camera to your network and use the cd supplied which contains a search utility

My only complaint is that i thought you could view live feed from any wifi no matter where you are but it seems it only works if you are on the same wifi as the camera that was disappointing

And use the foscam app to send emails directly from the camera and bypass the cloud service if you dont need the extra functionality
