A little tip for android users get tinycam its really good and offers background audio so you dont need the screen to be on

The right setup is ideally youd want to reserve an ip for the camera on your router so any power cuts dont mean youre having to change the settings of all your devices every time

Youd also have it setup to use your wifi network not the direct connection it uses out the box and finally youd port forward so you can view the camera from anywhere in the world
