Overall, i recommend you go with the foscam.
The picture quality appeared the same on both models.
It never worked consistently and always seemed to be 15-20 seconds delayed along with the video feed.
The picture quality is amazing and the software settings are amazing.
Packaging/appearance
The two-way radio feature on the dropcam was horrible.
The dropcam was constantly very hot even when not in operation.
The foscam was usually only 1 second delayed.

Easy to setupand has been easy to use with iphone5 and ipad4.
Called foscam technical support and received assistance from victor jones.
Used dyndns since its listed in the foscam software.
I now have installed and used about 30 of the foscam brand cameras for friends and family.
