Id bought blueiris software to monitor my cctv cameras one became toast and i decided to replace it with an ip camera

Foscam sells blueiris so i assumed that a foscam camera would be ideal

I chose the 9831p because the camera is in a fixed position indoors and doesnt need zoom but i wanted pantilt to make it easier to set the view via software rather than having to manually set the view

The only problems that i have are that the camera switches between daylight and nighttime fairly frequently which generates many email alerts and even though the camera is connected to my wireless router by ethernet the monitoring pc uses a wireless connection to the router

The first is related to clouds passing by which affects a large portion of the view and therefore triggers the switch in blueiris
