Pros
There are a few things i do not like but they aren't deal breakers. Easy to install. Only downside is the setup forces you to use a phone app, hand over your email address and login to foscam before you can reset the admin password/account.
The mounting bracket fixes the camera to look straight ahead. You can adjust tilt and rotation (but not pivot) this is among the least expensive of the 14 foscam cameras i've owned.
Cons
Safari doesn't let you use the plugin for the camera. When you try to access it via a browser (i tried ie, edge, chrome) it comes up to a white screen. No login, but no error either. Can't find my router with my ssid entered.
Foscam will not honor a 12-month warranty on this camera. The company will only honor a 59-day warranty on the faulty camera. If you return the camera, you will have to pay a shipping fee. The warranty is supposed to cover the entire cost of the camer... Read More
The camera range is terrible! The motion detection notifications are very unreliable. Their claim of “mesh network’ extending range capability is completely false. Connections rarely go through and the cloud service is per camera per month.
The playback is terrible! The video quality is not hd. Software to set up is flaky and unstable. Don't advertise functionality that doesn't work.

This camera has a beautiful picture quality and paired with foscam vms software i am able to record 24/7 with all 8 cameras.
The current foscam vms desktop app and foscam android app are very useable.
