The camera is very sturdy, all metal, and the microsd card slot is protected via an o-ringed cover. There are a few things i do not like but they aren't deal breakers. The support is fantastic.

Connect the nvr box to a television using a hemi cable to continuously view all 4 cameras or just one at a time. The nvr uses it’s own signal to connect to the cameras. The mesh lets the cameras communicate better with the nvr.

Cons

Motion detection notifications are very unreliable. Any notifications you get if you opt to download the app are after the fact and by the time you get connected to the camera you missed the action. Support is not available except while i am asleep.

Foscam cloud service is poor at best. Apps are poor. Android app is also a complete piece of trash.

Camera range is terrible! Notice the door jamb on the left side of the attached photo. There is another problem with cameras of this design that makes my snapshot problem worse.

Using via a browser is only possible with m$ edge browser. I go into the safari settings to see if i have to allow safari to use the plugin, and the plugin isn't there! The only option you have is download.

Picture quality is amazing and can easily see clearly 100 feet out with zoom.

Video quality is good and this is a real ip camera.

With the lighting at the rear of my residence at night there was no need to use the night vision.

But the quality is super good in day and night time.

I’ve been a customer of foscam for 6 years and i’ve never had any issues.

You can do the cloud thing, but i am sending this back to my qnap nas in austin from, universal city texas.

I'm hoping they will fix this problem it future updates if not will probably took at a different manufacturer.
