The 1¼” depth is the maximum depth controller that will fit. My xfinity xr2, tv cable box remote is the perfect size for the holder. This holds all of my remotes very well.

Reading the low rated reviews can be very deceiving. Good quality, durable & now keeps all our remotes organized. The material feels almost like satin.
