Quality

Def well made, metal seems solid and the fit is really snug

Made of metal and very sturdy fit on the lens and mount

There is minimal play and more importantly it is absent during focus change and aperture change even when i get to the end of the range.

On adapters with enameled mounting surfaces the enamel flakes off and gets on the camera's sensor causing spots on images.

Price

At $8 and a few pennies, this is well worth it!

At first i thought it was pretty expensive but when i held it on my hands, b my expectations grew.

This was an expensive, simple, and it does what i needed it to do.

Good if you're on a budget like myself.

Shipping

Item was shipped quickly and arrived as described.

Competitiveness

There are a few little things that could be better, but aren't deal breakers.

I purchased this to use with my biotar 58mm lens and other m42 lenses on my new canon r cameras.

I initially thought the adapter had damaged my precious fd lens but a youtube video showed how to fix it by lining up the aforementioned red dots

The mounting surfaces are metal rather than enamel

On adapters with enameled mounting surfaces the enamel flakes off and gets on the cameras sensor causing spots on images

The flakes can be removed but it is an unnecessary annoyance
