Have not tested infinity focus as it does not matter for my work but assume it is ok

The focal reducer can cause funny flares and lighting issue because of the light bouncing off several glass

One work around for this ive seen is if you have a canon body you can set the aperture on the lens and then as you press the depth of field preview button dismount the lens and the aperture will stay put at whatever you set it on

These legacy lenses are manual focus they are still manual focus with the adapter not autofocus
