Pros
Quality and threading is flawless. It went on smoothly, the finish on the metal is nice. Very reasonably priced.
The hoods screw perfectly on to the glass casing (yes, the binos glass frame is threaded) and stay securely in place. Fits nicely, very solid feel but lightweight. Comes with a securely fitting cap.
Cons
The only way i have been able to use it is with an adaptor, but even then is awkward. Tossed this piece of junk and went and bought the b+w hood.

To put a plastic hood on a nikon zf is an insult to such a fine camera.
I have ordered many aftermarket lens hoods from this brand, for missing or crummy originals.

The cost was no more than a plastic one and was exactly what i wanted.
I am an amateur photographer and this is a great for the money.
Unbelievable value, 1/20th of the cost of comparable hoods.
For the price, i was expecting less.

Lens was exactly as posted and delivered quickly.
Competitiveness
In either case fotasy offers a high quality solution at lower prices than oem caps and hoods in my experience.
Ideally, they're great for lenses that didn't come with other options.
The outer lens cap is easy to use as compared to trying to use the cap supplied with the lens.

One thing to know is that this wont work with any wide angle lenses as youll introduce heavy vignetting

Thankfully there are other wide angle specific lens hoods that are metal out there

And above else it makes the camera look cool and more bulky

But sometimes i run a polarizer or a nd filter so you have to stack the lens hood on top of the filters which doesnt make the most stable platform in the world
