Pros

Ring is sturdy and works very well on my 70-300mm canon l series lense.

The only downside that i have found is that the inside lining of this $8 no name is cloth and not a rubberized material. Otherwise, would recommend.

Cons

The vibration causes blurry images. It is impossible to hold the lens tightly. When attached on the zoom, the lens still wobbles and is not locked in solid.

It is lightweight and made out of cheep materials. It's plastic of some sort with what feels like a flimsy thumb screw to secure it.

The tripod socket is too shallow. The threaded screwhole is not sufficiently deep to permit fully tightening the screw.

Works good with my canon 70-200 f/4l series lens.

Same weight and quality, just a different name silk screened on it.

My colleague a photographer and tech guru said i would help with the tripod and he was right.

Price

It is pretty good for the price i paid.

The second problem i had is that the screw hole in the bottom isn't deep enough for every application.
