Pros & Cons
Pros
This drain screen is one of my favorite little inventions. Utensils stay safely in the sink! Holes are large enough to allow small food scraps to pass through and a lot easier to keep clean along with the sink.
Cons
This one is already on it's way out. It appears they're not. Totally over priced. Very disappointed. didn't make it 4 months.
It is easy for the strainer to get flipped upside down. It rusted very quickly (within weeks) and has marred the laundry sink (which i'm using as a kitchen sink during a remodel) does not fit all drains / garbage disposals.
Third problem is that the holes are too big and allowed my toddler's sippy cup straws to fall through. Ridiculous for a plastic screen. Design is great, material just isn't strong enough.
Highlights
Quality
This safety screen has helped keep many grapes and strawberries in my sink rather than down the drain.
Works great, looks good, easy to use.
This object is stiff and blocks unexpected things falling into the garbage disposal.
Let’s small food scraps through but keeps silverware from falling down into the garbage disposal
Price
You cannot tell me that it cost even half of this amount to produce a piece like this.
I bought mine at the commissary for about $2.
A little expensive but well worth it.
