Slide the top of the jar into the v, turn the jar clockwise and hey presto! It is hidden from view & yet so accessible to use.
Cons
With osteoarthritis, this is impossible for me to operate. Amazon shoud remove it from sales. It's utterly worthless. Now it's stuck to the underneath of the cabinet, so i can't even return it for a refund.
When one tries to turn the jar so the teeth grab the lid firmly, the jar simply glides around. The teeth that hold the jar are kind of flimsy.
