The weights hold down the dough and are easily washedin the dishwasher, they look interesting in a glass jar for storage.

These pie weights do a good job of letting my crusts to bake without letting them puff up.

Having purchased some pie pans and tart pans, using beans etc was not an option i chose to use.

I could not get it open without “tools” and (both times!

You will need a small storage container for them; i used an inexpensive ziploc plastic container to store them.

Skip the storage tub “deal”, though, it is not.

I received these the day i was making pies for thanksgiving.

Packaging/appearance

Two packages fills a 9" pie crust full enough to prevent sliding down into the plate.

Package was left on ground next to mailbox at curb, not in the mailbox

I received a flimsy plastic bag stapled to a folded cardboard hanger.

However they did not come with a container so i just use a small plastic bag to store them in.
