Pros

The crank motion is much easier on your wrist than those cheap sifters that require you to pull repeatedly on a spring handle. The crank turns very smoothly and doesn't rust. I prefer the handle type to the trigger type.

The quality is better than the squeeze sifter's at local big box stores. You have to tap it a little when the sifter is almost empty, to get the last bit sifted, but that is the same as any sifter i've used. It is smaller than i would think necessary ... Read More

It is used in conjunction with an aluminum 4 to 3 inch reducer. I store mine in a big ziplock bag so that i don't have to worry about it being dry before i need it again. It gives you a finer, more tender flour for your cakes and muffins.

Cons

The blades turn but do not touch the flour or other ingredients to be sifted. Too much space between the mesh and the 'blades' leaving too much left over flour that the blades can't reach. Not a good product at all.

Would have given it 5 stars but the packaging wasn't all that great.

The bottom lip could be a little smaller but all in all a good sifter for the price.
