To be truthful i did not measure where this was going and did not expect it to be quite as tall

Out of the package the metal wasnt bent at the correct angle to keep both sponges on it

I usually clean those with stainless steel chain mail but my husband uses a dedicated abrasive sponge that as a result always looks disreputable
